The Corporate Career Exploration (CCE) Apprenticeship is where scholars visit corporate partner offices, gain important career building skills and learn about the professional opportunities that await them.

CCE Apprenticeship Partners in Action
CCE - What, Where, When, Who
What: Host 20-30 scholars for a 90-minute field trip as they learn about the variety of career possibilities with your company.
Where: Your company’s office!
When: Late afternoon
Who: Employees who want to connect with scholars and inspire them to consider their career path and show them the possibilities of the corporate world.
TYPICAL CCE PROGRAM SCHEDULE
3:15-3:30 Scholar arrival
3:30-3:45 Welcome and opening remarks
3:45-4:45 Scholars are divided into small groups and rotate between individual or teams of associates representing different departments (Marketing, HR, Engineering, Customer Service, etc). Volunteers facilitate fun, hands-on activities that demonstrate core aspect of careers in your industry.
4:45-5:00 Tour and closing

Scholar Arrival & Welcome by Company Executive 15 minutes
Gather scholars in one of your favorite meeting spaces and invite someone representing company leadership to welcome them. Engage scholars with questions like:

Who can tell the group what this company does?

How many of you are interested in (name skills, related to the field/industry and company)?
Scholar Break Out Sessions 1 Hour
Scholars break into small groups (3 or 4 groups) and rotate for15-20 minute mini sessions with company departments you’d like to showcase. This is an opportunity for scholars to become familiar with various career tracks within the company. The goal is to give scholars an inside look at your field with short activities that demonstrate your day-to-day.
Office Tour 15 minutes
During the last 15 minutes of the session, show off your office space to the scholars and let them ask questions. This may be their first time in a corporate office setting!
